ISAY‑CIC have been awarded £14,335 by RWE’s Brechfa Wind Farm Fund, administered by Antur Cymru, to support the delivery of our HealthReach Carmarthenshire project.
This generous funding will help ISAY‑CIC bring free community health checks, screening awareness sessions, women’s health support, volunteer training and wellbeing activities directly into rural communities across Carmarthenshire.
Through HealthReach, residents will be supported to access preventative health advice closer to home, helping to reduce barriers linked to transport, cost of living pressures, rural isolation and long waits for health services. The project will also support people to build confidence around cancer screening, blood pressure checks, women’s health and everyday wellbeing.
Joanne Hobson, Founder and Director of ISAY‑CIC, said: “We are incredibly grateful to RWE’s Brechfa Wind Farm Fund and Antur Cymru for this support. This award will make a real difference to rural communities, enabling us to take practical health checks, screening awareness and wellbeing support directly to the people who need it most.”
ISAY‑CIC would like to thank RWE’s Brechfa Wind Farm Fund and Antur Cymru for investing in healthier, more connected rural communities.
